Acoustic insulation
Noise pollution is in our days one of the main reasons of low quality life in the city. It is proven to be harmful to health, increases stress and causes sleep problems. Sound-insulating glazing is the way to cut off excess noise and its harmful consequences.
In order to illustrate in numbers how insulating one product can be, a Sound Insulation Factor R has been determined. This factor is expressed in Db and represents the output of acoustic insulation of a building element for every 1/3 of octave in between the prices of 100 and 3150 Hz. it should be noted that every glass thickness does not perform the same sound reduction in all frequencies.
The use of Acoustic Insulation glazing is recommended for buildings next to highways, railway stations and airports.

TRC ACOUSTIC Noise Control
Ετοιμοπαράδοτος εντελώς διάφανος ελασματοποιημένος υαλοπίνακας (laminated) που συνδυάζει 2 φύλλα λευκού γυαλιού ενωμένα ενδιάμεσα με ένα εντελώς διάφανο πλαστικό φύλλο, που έχει την ιδιότητα σημαντικής απορρόφησης του ήχου και μείωσης της μετάδοσης του. Οι συνδιασμοί που μπορούμε να επιτύχουμε ξεκινούν από συντελεστή ηχητική μείωση Rw 36 dB και φτάνουν τα 42 dB.

SGG STADIP SILENCE
Clear laminated glass tha combines 2 clear glass panes binded in between with a totally clear plastic layer which has the function of significantly absorbing the sound and reducing its transmission. It looks like an ordinary glass pane with exceptional visual qualities.
How it works:
Acoustic glass includes an intermediate layer of special plastic that acts as a liquid core in order to prevent the sound frequencies to vibrate from one pane to the other. It is this intermediate layer that absorbs part of the sound energy and weakens it, acting as a sound barrier. In adittion this layer has all the properties and functions of a laminated safety glass. It is this type of glazing that helps in maintaining an environment of reduced noise levels inside a building.
