Clear laminated glass tha combines 2 clear glass panes binded in between with a totally clear plastic layer which has the function of significantly absorbing the sound and reducing its transmission. It looks like an ordinary glass pane with exceptional visual qualities.
How it works:
Acoustic glass includes an intermediate layer of special plastic that acts as a liquid core in order to prevent the sound frequencies to vibrate from one pane to the other. It is this intermediate layer that absorbs part of the sound energy and weakens it, acting as a sound barrier. In adittion this layer has all the properties and functions of a laminated safety glass. It is this type of glazing that helps in maintaining an environment of reduced noise levels inside a building.
